London based Hyperoptic has been voted the UK’s best broadband, with FTTB delivering the UK’s fastest speeds. Its product relies on the strength of ‘true’ Fibre Optic broadband, as opposed to Fibre Optic/Copper wire hybrids.
From this business standard, Hyperoptic became the first Internet Service Provider (ISP) to make 1GB download speeds happen in the UK, with its founding installation back in October, 2011. From 2013 the company further developed with the help of a £50 million equity investment commitment from Quantum Strategic Partners LTD, and later launched in Bristol, Cardiff, Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds across 2014/2015. With this expansion came the unveiling of a new brand and website in March 2015.
Along the way, Hyperoptic can boast a huge trophy cabinet of certifications. Starting in 2012 with the “Best New ISP” at the Internet Services Providers’ Association (ISPA) awards and the “Best Urban Network Enterprise” at NextGen Challenge Awards, Hyperoptic have since gone on to win “Best Superfast Broadband” at the ISPA 2012-2015. In addition, they achieved the ISPA’s “Best Use of Digital” award in 2014-2015 and “Best Consumer Fixed Broadband” 2015.
